MP3 Monday @ MacKenzieLand

Brooklyn Vegan has been fawning over Takka Takka for months now, and I'm starting to gush over 'em too. The Noo Yawk quartet warms out holiday hearts with this little tribute to our favorite reindeer, Rudolph. Both the Talk Faster EP and their long-awaited full-length, We Feel Safer at Night, arrive in early 2007!

Their February debut release, The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse, comes hot on the heels of their MIMI (Montreal International Music Initiative) award for Best Rock Group. Frontman Jace Lasek has also produced albums for the likes of Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown, and Land of Talk.
